Known as the Queens of Metal, and the female Bon Jovi, Vixen was founded in Minnesota , by Jan Kuehnemund, who brought the band to Los Angeles in the mid-80s. The band produced two CDs which spawned the hits “Edge of a Broken Heart”, “Not A Minute To Soon”, “How Much Love”, “Love Is A Killer”, and “Cryin”. Vixen had multiple #1 MTV videos, which helped to propel their first record, “Vixen”, to Gold. Vixen coerces you gently with a melodic groove until suddenly you're in the midst of a potent rock song. This is the power of Vixen.

In November of 2004, EMI re-released both of Vixen's previous records, “Vixen”, and “Rev It Up”. Also in November, the band appeared on VH1's “Bands Reunited”. Vixen is currently recording their new studio CD “Live and Learn” in Los Angeles with Dennis MacKay who engineered “Rev It Up”. They began touring the summer of 2005, starting with a tour of Europe , in June, which ended with them performing at the Sweden Rock Festival in front of 15,000 screaming Vikings. Vixen will have two new CDS released in early 2006. Their new studio CD entitled “Live and Learn”, along with the CD, and DVD, “Live In Sweden”, the CD will be released in the states on Sony/BMG.
